The Northeast Kingdom Chorus—recently merged with the Cabot Community Chorus and under the directorship of Cabot’s Lynn McKinney —has announced the dates for their December concerts.

Friday, December 20, 7:30 pm at United Church of Cabot.

Sunday, December 22, 4:00 pm at Greensboro United Church of Christ.

Both groups have had a long history of performing in the area.  The NEK Chorus, formed in the 1980s, has been known for singing mostly sacred works, while the Cabot Chorus, begun in 2003, has performed a variety of music in different formats.  In the spirit of the merger, the combined chorus will perform holiday music of both types.  The  concert will also feature performances by trios and quartets drawn from the membership.

The Cabot Chronicle Needs You!

E-mail Print PDF

Do you have one hour per month to spare?  Or perhaps a few more?  Or a small advertising budget?

The Cabot Chronicle wants your help.   More hands are needed at the wheel.  When the paper was re-established in 2008, there were five to seven people around the table, contributing ideas, energy and time.  Now, we’re down to two all month long, with (happily) another six helping with the end-of-month tasks, once the paper is put together, but several of those helpers are moving on.
